Emmy-Nominated TV Writers Set to Share Stories and the Spotlight at Sublime Primetime 2012

Honoring this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards writing nominees, as well as showcasing quality television writing, SUBLIME PRIMETIME 2012 features an exciting line-up of Emmy-nominated writers set to share personal stories behind their acclaimed TV programs, exploring the unique challenges of both the craft and business of TV writing.

Insightful, irreverent, and always entertaining, this annual special event is co-presented by the Writers Guild of America, West, the Writers Guild Foundation, and Variety. Proceeds benefit the WGF.

Emmy-nominated panelists scheduled to appear include: Dave Boone (84th Annual Academy Awards, 65th Annual Tony Awards), Semi Chellas (Mad Men), Lena Dunham (Girls), Alex Gansa (Homeland), Howard Gordon (Homeland), Ted Mann (Hatfields & McCoys), Billy Martin (Real Time with Bill Maher, 84th Annual Academy Awards [Special Material]), Matthew Weiner (Mad Men). Glen Mazarra (The Walking Dead) will moderate the program. WGAW President Christopher Keyser and Variety Editor-in-Chief Timothy M. Gray will introduce the evening.
