It was Pulp Fiction that made Margaux Froley want to be a screenwriter when she was a 13-year-old growing up in Santa Barbara, CA. She received her Bachelor's degree at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, but it was two years as a showrunner's assistant that solidified Margaux's interest in writing for television. Margaux was a participant of the Warner Brothers Writing Workshop, and was subsequently staffed on CW’s Privileged. She had a stint in New York as a development executive at MTV, before landing a three-book deal with Soho Teen/Random House for a YA boarding school murder mystery trilogy. The first book, Escape Theory, comes out in March, 2013. Margaux currently lives in Los Angeles, and has been adapting her YA books as a TV series while writing new drama pilots.
