Thanks to burgeoning popularity of podcasts, streaming services, and audio books, scripted audio is a natural extension and great platform for writers to learn a different skill set and a new way of telling stories, while staying in the business. The challenge? Create images without pictures through powerful tools of words, sound effects, music, and silence, tapping into a listener's imagination. Portability is what makes audio such a relevant medium. Evening starts with sampling of past and current scripted audio series and podcasts. Panel follows with scripted audio writers and producers, discussing content creation, production, editing, and distribution. Hosted by WGAW Writers Education Committee.
