Join your fellow WGA members tomorrow morning downtown at the L.A. City Council.
 
The Los Angeles City Council’s Housing, Community, and Economic Development Committee will conduct a hearing on the economic impact of the Writers Guild of America strike on the local and regional economy. Issues discussed will include the history of bargaining and the issues at stake in this strike.
 
Scheduled to appear at the L.A. City Hall meeting are: Patric M. Verrone (WGAW President), David Young (WGAW Executive Director and Chief Negotiator), John F. Bowman (Chairman, WGA Negotiating Committee), along with local experts and economists. Herb J. Wesson, Jr. (Los Angeles City Council 10th District) will chair the session.
