Lisanne Sartor is an award winning writer-director whose short film “Six Letter Word” screened at over 50 worldwide film festivals, including the Telluride Film Festival. She’s written and will direct the feature version of “Six Letter Word,” with producer Tani Cohen producing. In 2012, she was one of eight women selected for the prestigious AFI Directing Workshop for Women. In 2016, she was one of 40 women to receive a renowned Hedgebrook residency. She was a DGA Trainee and a DGA assistant director and has an M.F.A. in screenwriting from UCLA, where she won numerous screenwriting awards. Her original screenplay, Cleaverville aired on Lifetime as an MOW. She’s written an MOW for the DeAngelis Group in Italy, had a script optioned by Hearst Entertainment, and developed projects with numerous companies. She is Board President of the CineStory Foundation, a screenwriting non-profit, and is an instructor at the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program.
