Robin Madden

Robin Madden graduated from Stanford University in Communications and attended film school at the University of Texas. He’s been a WGAW member since 1983, when his spec script Gator and the Dead Man garnered a deal with Columbia Pictures to develop a civil-rights-era comedy for Richard Pryor. Other screenplays include King of the Beasts, Love is Strange, Randomizer, and Refuge.

Robin began work in television as Associate Producer on Jake and the Fatman, for which he wrote multiple episodes, assuming the role of Producer in season three. Subsequently, he worked as Story Editor on Walker Texas Ranger and Producer on Diagnosis Murder, writing multiple episodes for both shows. He has also written episodes for Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Sons of Thunder, and 18 Wheels of Justice.

While continuing to write, Robin is also a script consultant and teacher of Creative Writing and Screenwriting.
