Rebecca earned her first pennies creating stories for her allowance as a child. After acquitting herself reasonably well at UCLA, she later fled grad school and headed to New York to pursue a writing career (she might have spent almost as much time at the Limelight as she did writing).
Upon her return to L.A., Rebecca worked as a script analyst. One thing led to another and she landed at All My Children, where she enjoyed 12 years as a scripter until the show’s demise. She’s received three Writers Guild Awards and eight Daytime Emmy nominations.
Rebecca has been writing and developing a variety of projects. And she still occasionally channels Erica Kane (except for the 11 marriages part).
