Shukree Hassan Tilghman

Shukree Hassan Tilghman worked as an editor on Dog the Bounty Hunter and various other semi-ridiculous cable reality shows before coming to his senses and pursuing an MFA in screenwriting at Columbia University where he won the Faculty Selects Screenwriting Award for his television pilot Big Girls (now 94 Feet). Upon graduation, he continued to mine the depths of the reality-show underworld, cutting “redneck reality” and house flipping shows until he was saved by a job as a writer on the USA drama series Satisfaction where he wrote four episodes over two seasons. Shukree has also directed non-fiction projects including the PBS documentary film More Than A Month, a tongue-in-cheek journey to end Black History Month, and The March @50, a PBS.org online documentary series about the anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington. Shukree received a B.F.A. in Film and Television from New York University.
