Chelsea Catalanotto is the daughter of a children’s book author/illustrator and a photographer and grew up in an artistic household in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She studied creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College and spent most of her free time writing and performing for SLC’s Lampoon and the satirical Onion-esque newspaper, Full Frontal. After college, she worked as an intern and production assistant for Saturday Night Live. During that time, she wrote for PIT TV and co-created two independent sketch teams whose sketches appeared on Splitsider (now Vulture), Collegehumor and Serial Optimist. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, dog and two cats. Most recently, she's written two episodes of The CW’s iZombie and is in development with Spondoolie Productions and Warner Horizon.
