Deanna grew up in Plant City, a rural town in central Florida. A giant dork in high school (but totally not anymore), she did math league and yearbook, and eventually graduated as valedictorian, never imagining she’d choose a frivolous and unstable career like TV writing. After working on the pilot of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Deanna was an assistant on CSI, first in post-production, and finally in the writers’ department. She was a NYTVF Lifetime Writing Fellow, and her pilot Long Lost won first place in the 2015 Nashville Film Festival Drama Teleplay competition. She’s an alumnus of the WB Writers’ Workshop and was a staff writer on the second season of Blindspot. More recently, her half-hour drama The Apology Tour was recognized on the 2019 WriteHer List. In her free time, Deanna enjoys watching hockey and reminding people that she was smart in high school.

Long Lost
A young pregnant woman on the run from her criminal past wakes up in a small town with no memory of who she is, how she got there, or what she was running from.
