Give future generations a window into this moment for writers.

We are living through a historic moment, and the Writers Guild Foundation invites you to create and preserve a record of your experiences during the pandemic. Share stories, letters, photos, videos, and artwork of how you're coping with the crisis, how you've been impacted by the Hollywood production shutdown, and how you think the world might be different after this. WGF will collect and preserve these in the Archive for historians, future writers, and a future digital exhibit. Submit your stories here.

The WGF Shavelson-Webb Library may be closed for now, but members can still contact library staff by email at library@wgfoundation.org for any research requests or inquiries about scripts and archive materials. If you're looking for virtual conversations on craft, the Foundation also hosts free Zoom panels featuring film and TV writers. Sign up for their weekly newsletter to hear about them first, or check out their Events page for upcoming Zooms. Recordings of past Zoom panels, along with posts on script formatting and more, can be found on the WGF Blog.
