WELCOME TO THE GUILD SCREENINGS!

WGA members... welcome to your theater! It's the best place in town to schmooze and banter with your fellow wits. Remember, ALL MOVIES ARE FREE! You can bring TWO GUESTS to all general screenings. You can bring THREE GUESTS to all Family Matinees. Seating is first come, first served. No reservations are required – just show up! And parking is free – we validate!

This month, we have big studio movies like IF, ATLAS, and THE IDEA OF YOU. We have exciting indies like I SAW THE TV GLOW, GASOLINE RAINBOW, THE FEELING THAT THE TIME FOR DOING SOMETHING HAS PASSED, and THE DEAD DON'T HURT. Do you enjoy hip animation? Then check out ROBOT DREAMS and MARS EXPRESS.

We also have a full slate of Q&As. On Saturday, May 4, co-writer/director Ethan Hawke will join us to discuss WILDCAT, his exploration into the mind of Flannery O'Connor. On Sunday, May 5, writer Drew Pearce will speak after his uproarious action/comedy, THE FALL GUY. On Friday, May 10, we'll show the simian extravaganza KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, followed by a discussion with screenwriter Josh Friedman. On Saturday, May 11, we'll screen the hilarious comedy about female friendship, BABES, followed by a Q&A with co-writer Josh Rabinowitz. Finally, on Friday, May 31, writer Jeff Nathanson will appear after his rousing sports story, YOUNG WOMAN AND THE SEA.
