Don’t fall prey to scams or security threats from third parties.

Members should be on the lookout for any spamming or phishing scams asking to share your credentials. If a third-party site asks you to verify your status as a WGAW member using your myWGA credentials, please note that the WGAW does not have any such agreements with third parties and advises against sharing your account information with anyone. Doing so compromises your account security and the personal information contained in it.

As a member, you have the option to grant account access to selected parts of your myWGA to third parties—managers, agents, attorneys, assistants, or others—without sharing your private login credentials. Designees will create their own myWGA login and only be able to view and edit what you, the account holder, select. For more details, visit the Manage Permissions page in myWGA.

For added account security, see the options available under Login & Security, which include email notifications and email verification when a login attempt is made from a new device or location.
