The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in writing for the screen during 2014.
Writers Guild of America West President Chris Keyser has issued the following statement in response to the tragic events at the offices of Charlie Hebdo in Paris, France:
"The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) applauds Senator Leahy and Representative Matsui's continued commitment to the Online Competition and Consumer Choice Act, reintroduced today to their respective bodies in Congress.
